SHOC can provide a half day course teaching delegates how to use sonde locating devices.

The half day consists of:

• Class room theory on specific sondes and their locating depths.
• Locating techniques and how to avoid ghost signals
• Setting up and how to use the receiver
• Tracking the sonde and how to gauge its depth
• Outside assessment by delegates where participants gain experience in using the sonde, tracking it and gauging its depth

Delegates will also fill in a questionnaire to complete the course.

This course will require a minimum of 8 delegates and a maximum of 12.

It is strongly recommended that operatives have had CAT & GENNY training within the last 3 years.
